When I hear those I think of runaways, fabrics, patterns, colors, dresses, hats and so on. Fashion textile rotation is so different from those words! The brief mention compress and expand. We were told to bring any-type of objects that are related to those words such as balloons (stretch), umbrella (could be expand) and stockings. On the first day we were put into groups of three and to create an installation with our objects within 15 minuets.
They are really weird and meaning less I think however we made continuos drawings directed by our tutors.

| Can you see the light lines? we were told to draw by holding the pencil with our fingertips. Then we hold our pencil as if we're going to stab someone and draw on the same paper for 10 seconds. |

I had fun drawing this because there is no pressure of making them look precious. Its great to just draw and not think.
