Was browsing youtube and look what I found;
watch till the end!
Lately I've been admiring fashion today because its not just pretty and beautiful but I think fashion is so much more than that! Its about concept, ideas and innovation. Hussein Chalayan is between fashion and technology he actually combines both which I think is pretty cool. He become the 'odd one out' but he become unique and different then others.
I was very pleased with my assessment 'Hana's performance throughout the course has been excellent and she has demonstrated through commitment.' Yeyeyeyeye! Very sorry with my late posts since the 3D spatial specialism has been very busy over the week. After my assessment week we all got reading week. I went to the barbican art gallery to see the Future Beauty: 30 years of japanese Fashion exhibition to start off.
This exhibition was a survey of avant-garde japanese fashion from early 1980's to now. Issey Miyake, Rei Kawabuko and Yohji Yamamoto redifined very basis of fashion. They take the simplicity of fabric to form expression, they turned fashion into art.
Works by Miyake, Kawakubo and Yamamoto are presented alongside also including Junya Watanabe, Jun Takahashi, Tao Kurihara and Mintdesigns.
