Drawings are to communicate. Since I am doing interior and spatial design I have to bond and create a good relationship with orthographic drawings whilst holding on into freehand drawings. So what is orthographic drawings. Im never good with words so I' ll just show you.
Orthographic drawing also known as technical drawing. This particular sheet shows studies of the staircase on my site. The drawings are combination of a plan, elevation, section and details. |

To me drawings are fascinating. To be able to draw is a valuable asset. Not just freehand drawings but any type of drawings. They are somehow very interesting as it shows all the working lines, marks, line weight and errors. Drawings show characteristic and style. I will have to learn to like computer programs such as Rhino, 3d Max and so on. They communicate well but they will never be as attractive. Its always good to know and to catch up with technology today but if I communicate better and faster with my drawings why should I draw through the computer?
