Self Pampered

These little things make me happy...

Fournitures

I brought them to school with people staring at me on the way. I guess its really odd to walk around with an antique wooden chair around South Kensington.  I got in the bus and I find it quite funny there was an extra chair on the bus. Shame I didn't take a picture of my self carrying the chair around and when the chair was on the bus. Anyways, we were told to get into groups of four and to arrange them anywhere. So this is what we did.

After we document our 'sculpture' we start to disassemble our furniture. I had so much fun 'destroying' it :D

Now, I have to think what can this chair turn into??

Yu Tsai

Came across this fashion photographer. Check out this video directed by Yu Tsai.

I really like how he play around with black and white and colors. He combine them both in this video. The lighting is very dramatic powerful. How he compose each frames is speechless. I think this video is somehow artistic. I also like the song he have to company this video!

passion

Beside art, music is have always been a big part of me. Have learnt piano since 6 years old and followed by violin. I'm very greatful now since im in london i want to watch as many musicals, ballette's, orchestra's and concerts as much as possible.

The musicals I've watched are...

Last Thursday, 4th November 2010 I watch Sir Charles Mackerras Memorial Concert presented by Anthony Andrews in Royal Festival Hall. Played by the philharmonic Orchestra. They played Handel, Mozart and Dvorak. It was a great experience! But i guess my friends and I was the youngest between all the audience.

I also watch the performance of Rufus Wainwright on the 22nd of November 2010! He was such a great einternainer because we were in the concert hall for more then 3 hours but it didn't felt long at all.

Cannot wait to watch and see KATHERIN JENKINS sing and NUTCRACKER BALLET performance!!  :D

Wooden Furniture

Over the reading week, we were asked to find a piece of wooden furniture that i can transform. The furniture has to be wood so it would be easier for us to disassemble. The furniture shouldn't be massive because I should be able to carry it on the tube.

So on Thursday the 9th November 2010 my friend and I went and walk around Angle to look for dumped or second hand furniture. Wasn't easy and some cost more then £10! The day was windy and cold. It was terrable luckly it didnt rain. We went to this really quiet neighborhood and I saw some shelves beside the street not owned by someone! I was about to take some since its a furniture wood and can be carried around. When I was about to take them an African British man came to us and said in a low voice 'you girls takin' my scarp I'll cut you' He came closer to us and have us both around his arms! I quickly run but stop to realize my friend was not running with me. That man walked a way and laugh at us. It was really weird but scary at the same time. I was so shocked it was terrible remembering that but thanks God we both are good and safe. We went to one antique second hand shop and I got my self a big broken wooden chair for £10. Not bad.
